Single Skin Wing
Compared to the Parasailor, the Single Skin Wing of the Parasail consists of a one-dimensional layer of sailcloth. Its angle of attack gives the Parasail both lift and propulsion. Compared to the three-dimensional wing of the Parasailor, this simpler design is not entirely as effective, but reduces manufacturing costs.
Can be used with or without spinnaker pole
There are various ways you can use your Parasail. Using a spinnaker pole – like you do with a regular spinnaker – is just one of many options.
However, there is a much simpler method: You can use two additional kicking straps that are lead over the bow instead of a spinnaker pole. This makes jibing easy, as you don't have to climb onto the foredeck.
Two sails in one
Two sails in one! You can use the Parasail between an apparent wind angle of 70° and 180°, which covers the range of both a spinnaker and a gennaker.
This is easy on the wallet and saves a lot of space on board.
